The Lapp and Fao Story
The gourmet Linvard Bo Lapp has every reason to indulge his healthy appetite from time to time. He knows with which heart and soul his friend and partner Ephraim Fao (star chef and constant companion of the world-traveling entrepreneur) dedicates to each meal.
“The combination of the best ingredients, the pleasure and joy of preparation, and finally, the beaming faces of those at table are the ultimate reward.”
In terms of gourmet culture, both adventurers are a lot more than namesakes to the confidently unique and ambitious Lapp & Fao project. With their claim to the highest quality, their experience in processing only the finest raw materials and products, and their absolute disdain for any type of artificial color, flavor, or preservatives, the Lapp & Fao tapir represents a clear company philosophy.
It just so happened that the unique black and white coloring of this rare species of “Tapirus indicus” first brought Linvard Bo Lapp and Ephraim Fao together in the forests of Malaysia. While Lapp had followed the two-meter-long exotic creature into the underbrush out of sheer curiosity, Fao had been on a wet and humid morning jaunt for herbs and roots. As usual, he had planned to spend the rest of the afternoon working thse into his culinary experimentation. Lapp and Fao first collided with one another in the middle of a generously sprawling ginger blossom field – literally back to back, and then later in a passionate dispute over the proper water temperature for preparing green tea. That same day, in the throes of an exceptionally fine meal, the two aficionados solidified their plan to embark on an exciting new adventure together.
And thats how the story begins.
